Tionna Williams named Mental Attitude Award Winner
At the conclusion of the state finals, the IHSAA Executive Committee named Tionna Williams of Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran High School as the winner of the Class 3A Mental Attitude Award.
Williams, a four year starter for the Cadets, is a four time All-Conference selection, two time First Team All-State player, and was named a 2014 Under Armour First Team All-American.
At Fort Wayne Concordia, Tionna is a Student Bible Study Leader, a Peer Minister for the Guidance Department, and a leader for the school’s annual Christmas Bureau Campaign. She is also a volunteer at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and the Euell Wilson Center for Underprivileged Youth.
Tionna is the daughter of Clint Csadenyi and Decarlo Williams of Ft. Wayne, IN. Next fall, Williams has a full scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin where she plans to study Sports Medicine.
Each year the IHSAA Executive Committee selects a senior player who was nominated by her principal and coach and was determined to have best demonstrated mental attitude, scholarship, leadership and athletic ability. The Committee presented $1,000 to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran High School's general scholarship fund in the name of Tionna Williams.
