Posted: June 3, 2022

North Central Senior Ramiah Elloitt finished first in four events on Friday, finishing as state champion in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash, and the 4x400-meter dash. She is the only track athlete - girls or boys - to win that quadruple crown in state history. Ramiah finishes her high school career as an 11-time State Champion. She is a one-time state champion in the 100, three-time champion in the 200, three-time champion in the 400, a two-time champion as a part of North Central's 4x100 relay team, and a two-time champion as a part of North Central's 4x400 relay team. A covid cancellation in 2020 robbed Ramiah of the chance to finsh as a four-time champion in the 200 and 400, but nevertheless, she graduates as one of Indiana's most decorated runners.

Huntington North Senior Addison Wiley finished as State Champion in the 800-meter run and 1600-meter run, breaking both State Records in the process. She posted a time of 2:06.26 in the 800, and 4:38.69 in the 1600. She finishes her outstanding high school career as a two-time State Champion in the 800 and three-time State Champion in the 1600. It is important to note that Addison missed a chance to post four State Championship in the 1600 due to the Covid cancellation in 2020.

Bloomington North Sophomore Hadley Lucas swept the throwing events on Friday, taking first in discus with a throw of 147-04 and shot put with a throw of 46-04.25. She will have a chance to defend both titles next year.
