Sectional pairings were drawn Monday by the host sites and are posted directly into the tournament brackets here.

Two-time defending state champion and No. 1 Carmel will open playing host to Guerin Catholic in the opening round of Sectional 5 on Wednesday.

Also of note, No. 9 Munster, which has won every sectional tournament it’s played in since 1981, is chasing a state record 32nd consecutive sectional crown this week. The Mustangs, currently tied with Homestead which won 31 straight from 1979-2009, are set to meet Highland in Sectional 40 on Wednesday afternoon.
