Two New IHSAA Television Spots to Air during Olympic Telecasts
In its continual effort to promote the many values of high school sports, the Indiana High School Athletic Association, Inc. (IHSAA) will debut two new television spots on Friday during NBC’s telecast of the Opening Ceremonies of the Summer Olympic Games.
Each 30-second commercial will air numerous times during the network’s Olympic coverage in Indiana markets over the next several days and throughout the coming school year in a variety of other programming.
The first spot titled, “Decisions, Decisions” shows a young boy pondering which sport he might play someday in high school accompanied by the message of the life benefits he’ll reap no matter which sport he chooses.
The second spot titled, “It Takes Two” demonstrates several high school students participating in their respective sports while noting the rewards that individuals and their communities gain for a small percentage of an average school’s budget.
Both public service announcements were written, produced and distributed by the IHSAA’s marketing partners at Three Sixty Group. The IHSAA also would like to thank the numerous athletic administrators and student-athletes for their cooperation in making these productions possible.

Founded in 1903, the purpose of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, Inc. (IHSAA) is to encourage, regulate and give direction to wholesome amateur interschool athletic competition between its 408 member schools. The Association provides state championship tournament series in 20 sports, 10 for girls and 10 for boys. Approximately 160,000 student athletes participate in IHSAA sports on an annual basis.
