The Indiana Pacers, Indiana High School Athletic Association, Inc., National Federation of State High School Associations, Indianapolis Star and Dick’s Sporting Goods are proud to present the Larry Bird Character Award.
This award serves as one of the community outreach programs of the Indiana Pacers, and determined by criteria that are representative of the qualities of NBA Legend Larry Bird, including academic excellence, character, sportsmanship and community service. The top five male and top five female finalists will receive four tickets to an Indiana Pacers home game, and be recognized during a special on-court presentation. In addition, recipients will receive a commemorative photo and finalist plaque for their achievement.
The overall winners (top male and top female) will receive a Larry Bird Character Award trophy, and a $1,000 scholarship from Dick’s Sporting Goods to an accredited college of their choice.
